Deputy Commder-in- Chief of Defence Commander-in-Chief(Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win received Chairman of Restoration Council of Shan State/ Shan State Army(RCSS/SSA) U Ywet Sit and Party at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa, here, this afternoon.
Also present at the meeting together with the Vice-Senior General were senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Chair of RCSS/ SSA was accompanied by his members. At the call, they exchanged discussions on peace processes such as mutual understanding and different opinions between both sides for the facts of the second Union level peace-making agreement signed the Union Peace-making Work Committee and Restoration Council of Shan State/Shan State Army (RCSS/SSA) on 16 January 2012 and discussed implementation of continuous processes in line with Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement NCA. They also exchanged views on stability, Peace and tranquility in Shan state, requirements for ethnic people to have peace of mind without mental pressure, bilateral relations between the two organizations with trust and respect, and continuous holding of meetings for building friendship and trust.
After the meeting, the Vice-Senor General and the Chairman of RCSS/SSA exchanged gifts and posed for documentary photo together with members.
