Vice-Senior General Soe Win receives leader of Indian military delegation

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief(Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win received an Indian military delegation led by Inspector General Major General Pradeep Chandran Nair of Indian Armed Forces, who attended the 4th Army to Army Staff Talks between Myanmar and India, at the parlour of Bayintnaung Villa here this morning.

The two sides cordially discussed strengthening of military ties between the two armed forces, cooperation in border security, peace and stability and holding of the 4th Army to Army Staff Talks.

Also present at the meeting together with the Vice-Senior General were Chief of Staff (Army) Maj-Gen Moe Myint Tun and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Inspector General of India Armed Forces was accompanied by Indian Defence Attaché to Myanmar Colonel Naveen Mahajan, SM and officials. After the call, the Vice-Senior General and the Indian Inspector General exchanged gifts and posed for documentary photo together with those present.
