Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrives at Myanmar Theravada Buddha Vihara Monastery in Moscow, cordially meets families of office of Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air)

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a goodwill visit to the Russian Federation, accompanied by Lt-Gen Soe Htut, Lt-Gen Min Naing and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) to the Russian Federation Commodore Kyaw Soe Moe, arrived at Myanmar Theravada Buddha Vihara Monastery in Balarikha Ward of Moscow in the afternoon on 24 April. They paid homage to abbot of the monastery Dr Ashin Icchariya and supplicated on the plan to build a Dhammayon in the precinct of the monastery, arrangements for expansion of the monastery, progress in construction of Shwezigon Replica Pagoda in the compound of World Multicultural Museum Park and asked requirements of the monastery.
The Senior General and senior military officers offered alms and cash to be spent on nine prerequisites to the abbot and viewed progress in expanding the monastery.
After posing for documentary photo in front of the monastery, the Senior General cordially met with families from the office of the Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) to the Russian Federation, attended to their needs and presented cash awards to them.
