Vice-Senior General Soe Win receives PRC Ambassador to Myanmar

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win received a delegation led by Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Hong Liang at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa here this evening. 

  
Also present at the call together with the Vice-Senior General were senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army). The Chinese Ambassador was accompanied by officials. 

  
Both sides cordially discussed the friendship and cooperation between the two countries and the two armed forces, Tatmadaw’s efforts to ensure eternal peace and stability by ending armed conflicts, Tatmadaw’s unilateral ceasefire so that ethnic armed organizations can hold peace talks with the government and the Tatmadaw without any gun shot in the interest of local people, cooperation in bilateral border peace and stability and regional development. 
After the meeting, the Vice-Senior General and the Chinese Ambassador posed for documentary photo together with those present.
