Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win received Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar H.E.Mr. Chen Hai at the Parlour of Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.
Present at the call together with Vice-Senior General Soe Win were senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).Chinese Ambassador Mr. Chen Hai was accompanied by officials.
Both sides held frank discussions of good relations between Myanmar and China, friendly cooperation between the two governments and the two armed forces, steps taken on the multi-party democracy chosen by Myanmar people and difficult situations, cooperative efforts between the government and Tatmadaw to restore eternal peace, measures to tackle the issues taking place in Rakhine State and China’s positive steps to render assistance in the processes of restoring regional peace and stability as well as internal peace.
After the call, Vice-Senior General Soe Win had a documentary group photo taken together with the Chinese ambassador and members.
