Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Vice-Senior General Soe Win arrives in India

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief(Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife left the Yangon International Airport on the evening of 13 September to attend the BIMSTEC Army Chiefs’ Conclave to be held in Pune of the Republic of India and arrived at Pune Airport of India at 3.25 am local standard time via Suvarnabhumi International Airport of Thailand and Bangalore International Airport of India. The Vice-Senior General and wife and members of Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation were welcomed at the airport by Chief Signal Officer Major General Jalaj Bhola of Southern Command of the Indian Army and wife, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Thein Zaw and wife and officials.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Vice-Senior General who left Pune Airport in a motorcade at 3.45 am local standard time arrived at Conrad Hotel in Pune, where they will stay, at 4 am local standard time.
