Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation joins dinner

The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife, currently in the Republic of India, left Conrad Hotel by car at 7.55 pm local standard time on 15 September for Southern Command Officers Mess where the delegation was welcomed by Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army General Bipin Rawat and wife,General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command of Indian Army Lieutenant General Dewan Rabindranath Soni and wife, and officials.

The Vice-Senior General signed the visitors’ book of the Southern Command. Together with senior military officers from BIMSTEC member countries, the Vice-Senior General enjoyed entertainment of Army Symphonic Band Concert of the Indian Armed Forces and presented gift to a leader of the entertainers.

Next, the Vice-Senior General and wife attended the dinner to mark the BIMSTEC Army Chiefs’ Conclave hosted by Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army General Bipin Rawat and wife. After the dinner, they exchanged commemorative gifts.
