NAY PYI TAW September 1
Insurgents of AA, TNLA and MNDAA blew up the 31st-Mile Reinforced Concrete Bridge with 50 feet in length and 20 feet in width, rebuilt by the Tatmadaw, near Narte Village, at about 11 pm on 27 August, causing interruption of transport facility for travellers and local people again. Hence, the Tatmadaw built a temporary bridge with the use of a bridgelayer for convenience of transport.
The Tatmadaw columns are on duty of security for ensuring good transport situation of the region, and servicemen from the local battlefield engineering unit rebuilt a two layer-one floor bailey bridge in the place of the damaged one.
As the construction tasks completed at about 5.30 pm on 31 August, small and large vehicles, travellers and local people have easy and convenient access to Hsenwi-Namsalat-Kunglon-Laukkai route.
