Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits Chang Hua Man Royal Project

The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing who attended the 7th Thailand-Myanmar High Level Committee Meeting this morning visited Chang Hua Man Royal Project in Phetchaburi Province of Thailand.

On arrival at the site of Chang Hua Man Royal Project, the Senior General and party were welcomed by Head of the project Mr. Tanin Nakhonchaikul and officials. At the parlour of the project, the head of the project and electricity energy in-charge Assistant Professor Dr.Wirachai Roynarin explained implementation of the project and generating of electricity. The Senior General asked for further information.

In visiting the project site, the Senior General and party viewed generating and consumption of electricity through solar and windmill,breeding of dairy cows, cultivation of rubber plants, extraction of quality latex from rubber plants with least impacts, production of natural fertilizers with the use of earthworms, production of milk and dairy products, and cultivation of fruit plants, vegetables and hardwood plants. The Senior General asked for further information. After viewing various kinds of goods produced by the project, they posed for documentary photo. The Senior General presented a commemorative gift to Head of the project Mr. Tanin Nakhonchaikul.

The royal projects in Thailand were established by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej to help people of basis strata and new generations secure economic achievement. Chang Hua Man Royal Project which started in 2009 is located on more than 99 acres of land. As it is conducting the research on cultivation of crops, the project gives a helping hand not only to farmers and breeders across the country but also to local people from Phetchaburi Province. These crops are grown naturally without content of chemicals. It is a heavy project among the royal projects in conserving the environments.The project site generates electricity through windmill and electrifies not only the project site but also local villages.
