Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation visits Mahabodhi Temple,significant places in Gaya, offers alms to members of the Sangha

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife, currently in Gaya of the Republic of India, left the hotel at 7 am local standard time on 20 September, went to Mahabodhi Temple and paid homage. After offering meals, water, flowers, oil lights,gold foils and lotus robe to Mahabodhi Pagoda and Arimettaya Buddha Image on the upper terrace, they visited seven places of Satta Sattaha in the Bodh Gaya Garden.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation proceeded to Myanmar monastery.They took the Five Precepts from members of the Sangha upstairs of the ordination hall of the monastery sharing merits gained for all donations after donating alms and cash for nine prerequisites.

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Vice-Senior General paid visits to Dukaracariya Hill and the monument where Sujata, the daughter of a rich man, donated the Ghanaian diet to the Lord Buddha and paid homage to the Sujata Stupa (Sujata Garh).
