Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Vice-Senior General Soe Win leaves for Laos

At the invitation of Major General Pasith Thiengtham, Deputy Chief of General Staff Department of Lao People's Armed Forces, Ministry of National Defence of Lao People's Democratic Republic,a Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief(Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win left Nay Pyi Taw airport this afternoon for LPDR on a goodwill visit to the country.
The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by the Vice-Senior General was seen off at the airport by Chief of the General Staff(Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Deputy Head of the Embassy of Laos to Myanmar Mr. Somphay WONGMAHCHAK,Deputy Military Attache of Laos to Myanmar Lieutenant Colonel Latsamy KEOMIXAY and officials.
Then, the Vice-Senior General and party arrived at Wattay International Airport in Vientiane of LPDR at about 2.30 pm local time.
The Vice-Senior General and party were welcomed at the airport by Head of Office of International Relations Department of Lao People's Armed Forces Colonel Touy Vi Laketh and wife, Myanmar Ambassador to Laos U Ko Ko Naing and wife, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navyand Air) Brig-Gen Kyaw Soe Min and wife, Lao Military Attaché to Myanmar Colonel Bounmyvieng VIENGHOUT THASAT and wife,Deputy Head of General Staff Department of Lao People's Armed Forces Lieutenant Colonel Souksavath DALASOUK.
In the afternoon, the Vice Senior General and party visited That Laung Stupa,Patuxai Monument, Wat Sisaket and Hopar Keo (the throne of Emerald Buddha Image).
The Vice-Senior General was accompanied by his wife Daw Than Than Nwe and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).
