Vice-Senior General Soe Win receives Senior Mediator of Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Swizerland and Swiss Ambassador to Myanmar

Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army), received a delegation led by Dr. Julian Thomas Hottinger, Senior Mediator of Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland and H.E. Mr. Tim Enderlin, Ambassador of Switzerland to Myanmar at Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.
At the outset, Vice-Senior Ge-neral Soe Win and H.E. Mr. Tim Enderlin, Swiss Ambassador to Myanmar cordially discussed the success of holding 4th Anniversary Signing of Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement, Tatmadaw’s collaborative measures with Independent Commission of Enquiry through full responsibility and accountability and Switzerland’s plan to invite military officers from Myanmar Tatmadaw to attend the course of leadership management and peace in Switzerland.
Afterwards, Vice-Senior General Soe Win and Dr. Julian Thomas Hottinger, Senior Mediator of Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland exchanged views on international efforts in peace process and experience so as to achieve eternal peace and current situations of Myanmar’s peace process.
Senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) together with the Vice-Senior General and the officials of Switzerland together with the Senior Mediator of Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland and the Swiss Ambassador to Myanmar were present at the meeting.
