Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Vice-Senior General Soe Win leaves for Thailand on goodwill visit

At the invitation of Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army General Apirat Kongsompong, a Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win left Nay Pyi Taw Airport this morning to pay a goodwill visit to Thailand.

The delegation led by the Vice-Senior General was seen off at the airport by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command, Minister of the Thai Embassy Mrs Kanokwan Pengsuan, Thai Naval Attaché to Myanmar Capt. Chawanwit Phungsai and wife and officials.

The Vice-Senior General and delegation members arrived at Wing 6 Airport of the Royal Thai Air Force in Bangkok, Thailand, and were welcomed by Intelligence Director Lieutenant General Chairat Changkaew of the Royal Thai Army and wife, Myanmar Ambassador  to Thailand U Myo Myint Than and wife, Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Khin Zaw and wife, Thai Military Attaché to Myanmar Senior Colonel Saranyaris Satthiwajchinadej and wife.
