Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attends closing ceremony of ADMM-Plus (VIP Program)

The Myanmar Tatmadaw delega-tion led by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, this morning attended the closing ceremony of the ADMM-Plus (VIP Program) together with chiefs of armed forces and officials of ministries of defence from respective countries at Fenglin Training Field in Guilin. 

First, the Senior General and party and delegation members from respective countries attending the ceremony arrived at Multi-functional Table Top Exercise (TTX) room where they were welcomed by officials from the People’s Liberation Army of China. They watched the video on practical exercises. 
When the Senior General and party and those present at the ceremony arrived at Fenglin Training Field where the closing ceremony would take place, they were welcomed by delegations from respective countries which participated in the practical exercises and combat vehicles used in the exercises in a row together with the military band of the People’s Liberation Army of China. The ceremony was led by Deputy Commander of Southern Theater Command and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Liu Yayong who introduced chiefs of armed forces and delegates from respective countries. Member of Central Military Commission and Chief of the General Staff of the Joint Staff Department of the CMC of the PLA General Li Zuocheng and Joint Chairman and Chief of Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces General Ponpipaat Benyasri presented certificates to those who outstandingly participated in the training sessions of the ADMM-Plus (VIP Program). 

The Joint Chairman Chief of the Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces and member of Central Military Commission and Chief of the General Staff of Joint Staff Department of PLA delivered closing speeches and posed for documentary photos together with those present. 

The Senior General cordially greeted delegation members representing Myanmar Tatmadaw who participated in the ADMM-Plus (VIP Program) in individuals, presented cash awards and posed for documentary photo together with them.
