Vice-Senior General Soe Win attends 29th AARM closing ceremony, farewell dinner

The Myanmar Tatmadaw delega-tion led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win left TRANS LUXURY Hotel where they were staying at 8 am local standard time on 26 November and arrived at Cipatat in Bandung, Indonesia where the 29th AARM closing ceremony would take place at 9.30 am. Frist, the Vice-Senior General and the Army Chiefs of ASEAN countries watched the final match of rifle shooting match (5) between ALLIGATOR (B) Team and BEAR (A) Team comprising participants from various countries. The shooting teams of ASEAN armies gave their salute by marching in the form of a military column. Then, the Army Chiefs of ASEAN countries presented awards to the winning teams. Army Chief of Indonesia General Andika Perkasa handed over the ASEAN flag to Army Chief of Royal Brunei Armed Forces Brigadier General Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh of Brunei which will host the 30th AARM and 21st ACAMM in 2020.
Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-SeniorGeneral Soe Win watched the performance of the military band, the demonstration of the special commando team and the free fall of the Free Fall team with the flags of the ASEAN countries during the closing ceremony of the 29th AARM and participated in the Falling Plate friendly match.
After posing for a group photo together with the Army Chiefs of ASEAN countries, Vice-Senior General Soe Win met and encour-aged the Myanmar Tatmadaw shooting team. Myanmar Tatmadaw shooting team secured four gold medals, four silver medals andfive bronze medals in team event in the 29th AARM shooting event and four gold medals, four silver medals and 2 bronze medals in other shooting event totaling eight gold medals, eight silver medals and seven bronze medals, standing at the fourth ranking.
At night, Vice-Senior General Soe Win attended dinner hosted by General Andika Perkasa, Army Chief of Indonesia together with Army Chiefs of ASEAN and then they enjoyed it.
During the dinner, Indonesian Army cultural troupe performed folk dances and artistes sang modern songs.
After the dinner, Army Chief of Indonesia General Andika Perkasa gave away emblems and gifts to Army Chiefs of ASEAN and posed for a documentary photo together with them.
