Nay Pyi Taw December 18
A news report that AA terrorists fired at a Tatmadaw column conducting area security duties in Minbya Township, Rakhine State, from a house in Seiktara Village with small weapons, had already appeared on page 14 of Myawady Daily issued on 14 December.
As regards the incident, some media are creating and issuing false news reports and rumors on social networks and illegal websites. At the same time, insurgents and some so-called NGOs are releasing fake news in time as propaganda saying that civilians were killed.
When bodies of U Nyan Thein and U Kyaw Aye Maung who died during the incident, were inspected in accord with the procedures, a documentary photo in which U Kyaw Aye Maung was the orderly of AA terrorist group leader Tun Myat Naing at a parade, was found in the pocket of the warm cloth worn by U Kyaw Aye Maung.
Moreover, in the confession of seven suspicious men including Maung Maung Than, son of U Tun Aye Kyaing, who is detained at Minbya Myoma police station, confirmed that U Kyaw Aye Maung was a member of AA terrorist group. Due to other information sources it was known that he was an officer at the AA terrorist group. He under the disguise of a village administrator was making contacts with the Tatmadaw columns on one hand, and on the other, he was sending the information about the Tatmadaw columns to AA terrorist group. He was also taking part in the necessary administrative affairs of the group, according to initial investigation.
AA terrorists are staying together with civilians in towns and villages or camps of displaced persons under the disguise of civilians. They gather strength when they are not noticed by the Tatmadaw columns and police stations to launch surprise attacks against mobile Tatmadaw columns, convoys, supply vessels, z-crafts and vessels transporting project materials, police stations and police battalions through mine laying and mine attacks; and to launch mass attacks to overrun camps. AA terrorists also abduct or kidnap innocent Rakhine ethnics who do not support the terrorist group, retired servicemen and police members, and war veterans and former police members retired on health grounds and butcher them for no reason. As they are committing such atrocities, ethnic races who want to pursue a simple life in Rakhine and Chin states are upset. But, they are living in consonance with the situation although they are against the armed abuses, and their complaints are becoming louder.
The Tatmadaw is making utmost efforts for ensuring cent percent peace in the state to fulfill the wishes of people earning a sincere life in the state soonest, according to the relevant news report.
