AA abducts 16 staff of Road Transport who will discharge duties in resettlement in Maungtaw region

The AA terrorist group abduct 16 civil servants including a deputy supervisor of Road Transport from Aung Tagum (7) passenger vessel owned by Inland Water Transport as the vessel was sailing from Sittwe Port to Buthidaung Port along Mayu River in Rathedaung Township, Rakhine State around 1 pm today.
Sixteen male staff members including a deputy supervisory of Road Transport took the vessel from Sittwe Port around 7.00 am this morning. They were assigned by the department to operate 20 SINO TRUCK HOWO trucks donate by People’s Republic of China to be used in resettlement process in Maungtaw region. The vessel with 51 passenger on board arrived at Rathedaung Port around 11.30 am, and left for Buthidaung Port. As the vessel arrived between Sar Phyo Island and Oak Pho, around70 AA terrorists arrived in seven motor boats,pull over the vessel, and abducted 16 staff members including the deputy supervisor who will discharge their duties in Maungtaw.
The AA terrorist group has been abducting and civil servants for no reason,and has committed more terrorist acts and subversive acts against the country and the people.
Security forces are investigating into the case.
