REMOTE IED LAID BY  AA TERRORISTS ON AGNUMAW-MAUNGTAW ROAD DEACTIVATED BY TATMADAW

 While taking security measures in Maungtaw Township, Rakhine State, Tatmadaw columns discovered at 9.20 am this morning a remote-controlled mine of 10 inches in diameter and 12 inches in height made up of a conduit pipe, two batteries of AA size with wires attached and a detonator laid by AA terrorists. Therefore, the mine was deactivated by the Tatmadaw for the safety of the passengers and the local people.  

 With the aim of conducting sabotage to transportation of the passengers and local people, the AA terrorists have laid mines for five times on the Agnumaw-Maungtaw road and the Tatmadaw columns and members of Myanmar Police Force have had to take security measures for the safety transportation of the local people.
