Tatmadaw True News Information Team holds press conference

A press conference was conducted by the Tatmadaw True News Information Team at Defence Services Museum in Nay Pyi Taw this afternoon on the incidents which occurred in Theintan and Kintaung villages, Buthidaung Township. Present at the press conference were 48 reporters from local news agencies, daily newspapers, journals, local TV news agencies, and locally-based foreign news agencies, totalling 24.
First, Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun, Secretary of the Tatmadaw True News Information Team explained the incident in which two villagers were dead and seven injured in firing of heavy weapons by AA terrorists into Kintaung Village in Buthidaung Township on 25 January morning and AA terrorists’ attempts to commit rapes against Bengali women in Theintan Village and intimidation against the village, with use of evidences, including video clips, photographs and maps. Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun then answered questions raised by those from the new agencies.
