Vice-Senior General Soe Win meets Union Defence Secretary of Indian Ministry of Defence, continues visit to DefExpo India-2020, pays homage to two members of the Sangha attending doctoral course

The delegation led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win who was on a visit to the Republic of India held a meeting with Union Defence Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of India Dr. Ajay Kumar at his temporary office of the Indian Ministry of Defence in the area of the 11th Defence Expo India-2020 (DefExpo India-2020) on the morning of 7 February. The bilateral meeting focused on exchange of research and technological affairs between two armed forces of both countries and matters related to necessary cooperation. 
Also present at the meeting together with the Vice-Senior General were senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and Myanmar Military Attaché to India Brig-Gen Thein Zaw. After the meeting, the Vice-Senior General and the Union Defence Secretary of India exchanged emblems. 
The Vice-Senior General and party arrived at the MCC in the area of Press Conference Area of the 11th Defence Expo India-2020 (DefExpo India-2020) and viewed displays at the India Pavilion & UP Pavilion. Officials concerned conducted them round the pavilions. 
On arrival at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University-BBAU of India, the Vice-Senior General and party paid homage to two members of the Sangha and two nuns from Myanmar attending the doctoral courses and donated offerings. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University was established to enhance learning of higher education in natural and social science fields. The university practises student-centred learning methods. More than 4,800 students including technologists are attending post-graduate and doctoral courses. Six members of the Sangha and two nuns from Myanmar are pursuing education in the doctoral courses. 
They then visited Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Park and Gomati River Front Park in Lucknow. Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Park was built in 1995, and it is located on 108 acres (0.43 square kilometres) in Gomti Nagar of Lucknow in Utter Pradesh State of India. The whole park was created with red shale stones conveyed from Rajashan. It aims to enable new generations to know interesting items such as histories of Utter Pradesh State, history of start to compile the constitution, and equality and religious affairs.
