Villager dies in mine explosion planted by AA terrorists

Mamud Enu, son of Abul Kasink, a resident of Sin Thay Pyin (Bengali) Village in Rakhine State’s Buthi-daung Township, on his way to herd cows around 7 am this morning, stepped on an improvised explosive device planted by the AA terrorists, and was injured in his right shin which broke up around six inches (fracture), with his right thigh and pelvis injured by shrapnel.
The victim died while being sent to Buthidaung public hospital, between Htiek Tu Pauk and Phone Nyo Leik villages around 9.30 am. Several children and a teacher of Hteik Tu Pauk Village were killed and injured in a mine explosion on 7 January as AA terrorists carried out mine attacks in Bengali villages.
AA terrorists planted mines at exits and entrances of villages, farmland and cropland of local residents, and transportation routes. So far, 13 civilians were killed and 35 were injured by mines planted by AA terrorists in Rakhine State.
