Narcotic drugs, materials, related equipment worth over Ks-38 billion seized in Kutkai Township

The troops on duty of security in Kutkai Township of Shan State (North), acting on tip-off, searched Kaungkha Village and its environs.

In so doing, they seized 158 gas stoves used in refining narcotic drugs, 410 bottles of chemicals, 266 five-gallon chemical containers, 87 bags of chemical liquid, 15 barrels of acids, one tablet making machine and various items of related equipment used in refining narcotic drugs in two suspected buildings in Kaungkha Village and environs at about 6 pm on 28 February, 281 50-gallon  barrels of acids hidden in ground pit at about 3.15 pm on 29 February, 51 bags of WY and R brand stimulant tablets, six bags of stimulant tablets with 88/1 label and 25 bags of stimulant tablets without label, totalling 16,400,000 and 3,300 soap boxes of heroin (about 33,000 grams) from a suspected building at about 6.15 pm, 1,540,000 green, orange and pink stimulant tablets with WY, R and 88/1 labels and without label, 140 soap boxes of heroin, two tablet counting machines, one grinding machine, one eight-wheeled DAF-XF vehicle, one 10-wheeled tipper, one 22-wheeled NISSAN vehicle, one double-crown six-wheeled tipper, one double-crown six-wheeled CHENGLONG vehicle, 126 blue plastic barrels of acid, 24 blue iron barrels of acid, 160 gas cylinders, 33 bags of white raw powder under scrutiny, 25 bags of bone charcoal and 16 five-gallon acid containers without owner from the ownerless building at about 9 am today.

The seized vehicles, narcotic drugs and materials and related equipment used in refining narcotic drugs worth more than Ks-38 billion will systematically be handed over the authorities concerned, and security measures of the region will be taken continuously.
