More narcotic drugs, related materials used in drug production seized in Lwekham Village, Kutkai Township

Security measures and searches continued around Kaungkha Village and near Lwekham Village in Kutkai Township of Shan State (North), where narcotic drugs, materials used in producing the drugs and related precursors worth over Ks-244 billion were seized from 28 February to 9 March.
In this regard, 41,000 empty small bags used in carrying tablets, a digital weight scale, a packaging machine, a 10,000-gallon fuel bowser, a Pajero car, a transporter and a 10,000-gallon fuel bowser trailer were seized from a garage and one-storey brick house roofed with corrugated iron sheets owned by U Lauk Sein, son of U Lauk Kyan Xie, who evaded from Shaukhaw Village in Kutkai Township at about 8.30 am today.
Similarly, the security forces seized 9,250,000 WY brand stimulant tablets, 66,000 88/1 label stimulant tablets, about 19 kilograms of brown morphine powder and about 60 grams of white morphine powder from the ceiling of onestorey brick house roofed with corrugated iron sheets owned by U Lauk Pe, who fled away from Shaukhaw Village in Kutkai Township at about 10 am today.
In addition, the security forces searched inside a valley about 2,300 meters from the northwest of the village at about 1 pm and seized additional 912,000 88/1 label stimulant tablets, 718,000 WY brand stimulant tablets, about 60 kilograms of ICE, 50 bottles of Myaukni brandsmell fighter and 14 polythene bags of white powder whose brand is still under scrutiny.
The narcotic drugs exposed and seized by the security forces in Kutkai Township from 28 February to date, included a total of 121,697,000 multi-coloured stimulant tablets, 192,700 grams of white opium, 271,000 grams of brown opium, 1.6 kilograms of heroin blocks, 16 kilos of opium oil extract,
1,650 grams of stimulant tablet powder, 10 kilograms of raw opium, and 433.5 kilograms of ICE, with an estimated value of more than Ks-266 billion, and 136 kinds of related materials used in drug production amounting to over Ks-1 billion, which total amounted to over Ks-267 billion.
Concerning the seizures of narcotic drugs, measures will be taken to arrest the main culprits and those involved in the cases in accordance with rules and regulations, and the security forces continue regional security measures and searches around the area.
