More narcotic drugs, related materials used in drug production seized in Lwekham Village, Kutkai Township

Security measures and searches continued around Kaungkha Village and Lwekham Village in Kutkai Township of Shan State (North), where narcotic drugs, materials used in producing the drugs and related precursors worth over Ks-274 billion were seized from 28 February to 11 March.
From the basement of a singlestory brick building owned by U Lauk Phu Chan, who has fled from Lwekham Village, at about 2.15 pm today, security troops seized 4,896,000 stimulant tablets with a label of 88/1, 1,430,000 stimulant tablets bearing WY label, 6,545 soap boxes of heroin (65.45 kilos), one block of heroin (0.33 kilo), seven kilos of ICE, 360 kilos of caustic soda, one tablet making machine, one tablet mixer, two steel cones, one tray for drying tablets, one digital scale, one glass tube and 151 tablet pressing rods.
The narcotic drugs exposed and seized by the security forces in Kutkai Township from 28 February to date were 131,303,000 assorted stimulant tablets, 258.7 kilos of heroin, 271 kilos of morphine, 1.6 kilograms of heroin block, 16 kilos of opium oil extract, 2.65 kilos of stimulant tablet powder, 10 kilos of raw opium and 440.5 kilos of ICE totally valued at more than Ks-287 billion and 193 kinds of related equipment used in drug production worth more than Ks-1billion, which totalled more than Ks-288 billion.
Concerning the seizures of narcotic drugs, continued measures will be taken to arrest main culprits and those who involved in the cases in accordance with rules and regulations, and the security forces continue regional security measures and searches around the area.
