Certificate of honour, cash award given by the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services presented to Myanmar national Kachin ethnic Aung La N Sang who won over challenger Lebanese citizen Mohammad Karaki

Aung La N Sang, who is both world champions in light heavy weight and middle weight classes of the One Championship, won over challenger Lebanese citizen Mohammad Karaki in the first round of the main fi ght of PURSUIT OF GREATNESS through the technical knockout at the National Indoor Stadium in Thuwunna of Yangon on the evening of 26 October.

In defending the middle weight belt, Aung La N Sang punched the exact and violent blows on challenger Mohammad Karaki in the first round and secured the victory over the opponent through technical knockout. Hence, Commander of Yangon Command Maj-Gen Thet Pon, on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services,presented a certificate of honour and Ks-10 million as cash award to Myanmar national as well as Kachin ethnic Aung La N Sang at Rose Garden Hotel in Yangon this evening.

Aung La N Sang, One World Champion in both MMA middle weight and light heavy weight classes, said he thanked the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and all officers, other ranks and families of the Tatmadaw (Army,Navy and Air) for honouring him. He pledged to make the most tremendous efforts for coming events to defend his championship belts for the sake of the State and the spectators.He then presented a sports suit on which he put signature and the One Championship poster as commemorative gifts to the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.The command commander accepted them.
