The Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army)Vice-Senior General Soe Win arrived at the office of Myanmar Military Attaché(Army, Navy and Air) in Beijing at 5.30 pm local standard time on 14 November and was welcomed by families of the Myanmar embassy and the Military Attaché’s Office.
The Vice-Senior General met with staff and families of the office of Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) to the People’s Republic of China including the Military Attaché and wife, officer trainees from Myanmar’s Tatmadaw doing courses in Beijing. He stressed the need for military diplomats to try to strengthen the relations and cooperation between the two armed forces of the two countries, widen their horizons and continuously learn and present international situations. He also spoke of the need for Myanmar Tatmadaw trainees to learn subjects at higher levels by taking full advantage of their trainings and apply and share them. He then highlighted the need for health and fitness to be able to shoulder duties conscientiously.
The Vice-Senior General presented gifts and local foods to the families of the Myanmar embassy and the Military Attaché’s Office and officers trainees. Later, the Vice-Senior General attended a dinner hosted by Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Tint Hsan and wife.
