Vice-Senior General Soe Win holds separate talks with army chiefs from Thailand, Brunei, Malaysia and the Philippines

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army)         Vice-Senior General Soe Win, who is in Malacca of Malaysia, held separate talks with Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army General Apirat Kongsompong of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Khairul Hamed Bin Awang Haji Lampoh of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Chief of Malaysian Army General Dato' Seri Panglima Hj Ahmad Hasbullah Bin Hj Mohd Nawawi of the Malaysian Armed Forces and the Philippine Army Chief Lieutenant General Macairog S Alberto AFP of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, at the hall of Casa del Rio Hotel in Malacca this afternoon local standard time.

At the calls with the army chiefs, the Vice-Senior General cordially discussed the matters relating to promoting amity between the armed forces of the two countries and cooperation in military training. The Vice-Senior General presented gifts to them and had documentary photos taken.
