Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation visits Officer Training Academy-OTA in Gaya, attends dinner hosted by commandant of OTA and wife

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and party visited Officer Training Academy-OTA in Gaya of India at 4.30 pm local standard time on 19 September. Commandant of the OTA Lieutenant General VS Sreenevas, VSM and officials welcomed the Vice-Senior General and party.

At Cariappa Hall of the OTA, an official explained matters related to the training academy and training affairs. The Vice-Senior General raised queries what he wanted to know and the commandant replied to the queries.

After having documentary photos taken at the Academy HQ Lawn, they viewed round the compound of the academy, the swimming pool of the cadets, gymnasium, sport medical center, cadet hostels, mess hall and parade grounds where officials conducted them round the places.

In the evening, the commandant of Officer Training Academy and wife hosted a dinner in honour of the Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation at OTA Officer Mess. Before the dinner, the Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation enjoyed music and entertainment played by the military band of the academy.Then, commemorative gifts were exchanged.

After having the dinner together with those present, the Vice-Senior General signed the visitors’ book of the OTA, Gaya, and returned to Royal Residency Hotel.
