Vice-Senior General Soe Win meets Luang Prabang Province Military Region commander, visits Military Combined Factory

The Myanmar Tatmadaw goodwill delegation led by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, currently in Lao People’s Democratic Republic on a goodwill visit, left Wattay International Airport in Vientiane and arrived at Luang Prabang International Airport this morning.
In the afternoon, the Vice-Senior General and delegation visited Luang Prabang Province Military Region, and held talks with the Military Region Commander Brigadier General Khammla Vongvilai.
Present together with the Vice-Senior General were senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Kyaw Soe Min. The Military Region Commander was accompanied by officials.
At the meeting, the Military Region Commander explained history, economy, social situation and tourism of Luang Prabang Province, and functions of the military region. The Vice-Senior General asked for more information. After the meeting, the Vice-Senior General and the Military Region Commander exchanged emblems. Then, group documentary photos were taken.
The delegation led by the Vice-Senior General visited Military Combined Factory in Luang Prabang Province.
First, the Vice-Senior General and party were greeted by Factory Manager Colonel Phetlakhone Manychan and officials. They then met at the meeting hall of the factory.
At the meeting, Colonel Phetlakhone Manychan explained the history of the factory and its products. The Vice-Senior General and party viewed round the products. The Vice-Senior General and Colonel Phetlakhone Manychan exchanged gifts and posed for a documentary photo together with those present.
In the evening, the Luang Prabang Province Military Region commander hosted dinner to the Vice-Senior General and party.
