Tatmadaw press conference takes place at Defence Services Museum in Nay Pyi Taw

A Tatmadaw press conference took place at the Defence Services Museum here this afternoon regarding terror acts being committed by AA terrorists in Rakhine State, ethnic armed organizations’ breach of disciplines and the peace process.
It was attended by Tatmadaw True News Information Team Chairman Maj-Gen Soe Naing Oo, Vice Chairman Maj-Gen TunTun Nyi, Secretary Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun and senior military officers from the Office of the Commanderin- Chief (Army) and 50 reporters from local news agencies, daily newspapers, journals, local TV broadcasting departments and a total of 28 locally-based foreign news agencies.
First, Maj-Gen Soe Naing Oo clarified ethnic armed organizations’ violation of disciplines in February 2020, seizures of narcotic drugs and the peace process in 2020. Next, Maj-Gen Tun Tun Nyi explained issuance of press releases on acts of terrorism committed by AA terrorists in Rakhine State in January and February 2020 such as abducting, killing, threatening, raping or torturing company staff, township/village administrators, service personnel, war veterans, members of Myanmar Police Force and innocent civilians and attacking villages by firing heavy weapons and detonating mines.
Then, officials from Tatmadaw True News Information Team answered the queries raised by those in attendance.
