Military attachés and deputy military attachés from foreign countries to Myanmar, anti-narcotic organizations from respective countries, members of the police from Myanmar Anti-narcotic Task Force andlocal and foreign media, together with responsible officials this morning left Yangon by Tatmadaw aircraft and helicopter for the village, where security forces seized narcotic drugs, items used in producing narcotic drugs and precursor materials worth over Ks- 93 billion at surrounding areas in Lwekham Village, Kaungkha Village-tract, Kutkai Township in Shan State (North) during the period from 28 February to 4 March 2020 and covered the news.
First, Maj-Gen Toe Yee from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), Commander of North-East Command Maj-Gen Aung Zaw Aye and Police Col Zaw Lin of Maynmar Anti-narcotic Task Force explained measures taken for exposing drug cases and local security and control, seizures of narcotic drugs in the entire country, cooperation with international community including neighbouring countries to combat narcotic drugs and involvement of armed insurgent terrorists in production of narcotic drugs.
