Drugs, precursor materials seized near Kaungkha Village, Kutkai Township

Security troops on duty in Kutkai Township, Shan State (North), seized 12,240,000 stimulant tablets with label 88/1, 820,000 stimulant tablets with label WY, 440,000 stimulant tablets with Rabbit brand, 10,470,000 stimulant tablets without brand, 2 kilos of heroin powder and 25 kilos of ephedrine powder (with an estimate value of over Ks-48 billion) hidden in a pit with five feet in width and five feet in depth in the ravine about 1,500 metres east of Kaungkha Village at about 12 pm today.
The narcotic drugs and precursor materials used in producing drugs seized today will be systematically handed over to the Anti-Drug Task Force in Kutkai. The narcotic drugs and precursor materials seized around Kaungkha and Lwekham villages in Kutkai Township from 28 February to date are valued at over Ks-393 billion.
