Members of Myanmar Border Guard Police ambushed by AA terrorists

AA terrorists this evening ambushed members of Myanmar Border Guard Police who are discharging duty on rule of law, and peace and stability of the region in Yathedaung Township of Rakhine State.
Acting on tip-off the news that AA terrorists arrived at Maungtaw-Angumaw road near Donepaik Village in Yathedaung Township of Rakhine State to blow up mines on the communication routes being used by the public, members of Border Guard Police this evening left Inndin police station by cars to carry out the tasks on rule of law and peace and stability of the region. On arrival at Koetankauk Village at about 5.20 pm, they were ambushed by AA terrorists. So, both sides exchanged fire. Three members of Border Guard Police were dead and four injured in the incident. Moreover, a civilian driver was dead and a conductor injured. The Tatmadaw columns rushed to the scene in time to reinforce the police members for giving supporting fire. They are in hot pursuit of AA terrorists who retreated from the scene.
AA terrorists commit planting mines and blowing up mines on communication routes used by the people so as to undermine peace and stability of the region while ambushing police members who are on duty of restoring rule of law and peace and stability of the region.
