Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspect for military building in Triangle Region Command

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and party, who had been visiting the Triangle Region Command Headquarters to present medicines and medical equipment for the prevention of COVID-19 in the areas of the command and inspect the tasks of local battalion headquarters, heard reports presented by Commander of the Triangle Region Command Maj-Gen Khin Hlaing at the meeting hall of the command headquarters this morning on the implementation of four tasks for military building, regional security, law enforcement, the welfare of members of personnel and measures taken for prevention of COVID-I9 among local residents and members of Tatmadaw families in the areas of the command.
After hearing the reports, the Senior General pointed out the need for relevant officers in respective stations to emphasize on the stability and security of the region and combat against narcotic drugs. The Senior General explained that the troops of the RCSS/SSA were allowed to operate in Loi Tai Leng and the southern area of Mongpan and that it is necessary for service personnel to comply with rules and regulations for the prevention of COVID-19 and to behave and eat healthily for immunity and fitness. The Senior General asked service personnel to carry out agriculture and livestock breeding tasks successfully and to sell the produces not only to members of the Tatmadaw but also to local residents and government employees cheaply in order to contribute to their welfare. The Senior General urged the attendees to encourage the enhancement of education of families of the Tatmadaw and local residents. Then, he pointed out that the matriculation pass rate in eastern Shan State is the lowest in the country and urge local battalions to encourage local people to place an emphasis on education with farsightedness. The Senior General continued to say that the Tatmadaw has always been performing the duty of defence and security of the country and protecting the lives and property of the people and that it is necessary for the Tatmadaw to continue to strive for being a reliable Thtmadaw for the people.
Moreover, wife of the Commandar-in-Chief of Defence Services Daw Kyu Kyu Hla attended No 9/2020 meeting of the Families Organizing and Disciplinary Committee of the Triangle Region Command held at the Golden Triangle Hall on 6 September afternoon together with wives of the commander of the Triangle Region Command and senior military officers of the stations under the command and took part in the discussions.
During the discussions, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla said she was glad to join the meeting closely and make insightful assessments and urged the attendees to nurture their offspring for higher education as all Tatmadaw families had already known the Tatmadaw has been rendering assistance for higher education and the enhancement of educational qualifications of them. She added that the Tatmadaw has been rendering assistance uninterruptedly and ideologies of educated people are valuable. She urged the attendees to nurture good offspring, staff and leaders necessary for the country with higher ideologies for the country.
Then, she urged the attendees, as better halves of the service personnel, to promote the image of the Tatmadaw by behaving accordingly and wear appropriate cloth neatly in accordance with their culture and status and said that she empathized with the wives of service personnel who have to lead their offspring on a self-help basis on behalf of their husbands who are performing operational and other duties. Having undergone the same experience, she said it is necessary to cultivate strong morale of self-confidence and pointed out that it is important to live in unison with the correct concepts as all of them come from different regions and converge in the Tatmadaw to carry out the affairs of life, the Tatmadaw and the country. In conclusion, she said that family members of the Tatmadaw are required to live in unison with love and mutual understanding.
Then, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General presented cash for the station maternal and child welfare association. The wife of the commander accepted the cash.
