Vice-Senior General Soe Win meets General Wei Fenghe,member of Central Military Commission,member of State Council, Minister of Defence of the People’s Republic of China

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, who was in Beijing of the People’s Republic of China, held a meeting with General Wei Fenghe, member of the Central Military Commission, member of State Council and Minister of Defence of the People’s Republic of China, at Bayi Building at 4 pm local standard time on 16 November.

They frankly exchanged discussions on further promotion of relations and cooperation between the armed forces of both countries in future, further enhancement of military cooperation between two neighbouring armed forces, performance in concert of ensuring regional peace and stability, and measures on peace and stability in border region.

After the meeting, the Vice-Senior General and the Chinese Minister of Defence exchanged emblems and commemorative gifts and posed for documentary photo.

On the morning of 16 November, Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by Myanmar Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China U Thit Lin Ohn and Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Tint Hsan, paid a visit to China Precision Machinery Import-Export Corporation(CPMIEC) in Beijing. They were welcomed by Vice President Mr. Fu Tao and offi cials of the company who conducted them round the booths of company. At the meeting hall,officials explained functions of the company.

Afterwards, they posed for documentary photo. Later, President of CPMIEC Mr. Zhiao Xiaolong hosted a lunch to the Myanmar delegation.
